Marketing in the Levant and Iraq

Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq have some of the most creative, socially active audiences in the region. We plan campaigns for them as part of wider MENA work.

The Levant has long produced many of the Arab world's best-known creators, and its audiences are quick to share what they like. Levantine dialects travel well across the region. Iraq is a different story: a market of more than 47 million people where social reach has grown fast and TikTok now reaches tens of millions of adults.

Advertising audience reach as a share of total population, from DataReportal's Digital 2026 country reports (data from late 2025). TikTok is shown as an absolute number of adults because it reports no population share. Ad reach is not the same as monthly active users.

In Lebanon, TikTok reports more adult users than Facebook has ad reach. In Iraq, TikTok's adult reach is close to the number of internet users. Short video leads in both.

Rules for creators

Jordan introduced a new Digital Media Law with a licensing system for content creators run by the Jordan Media Commission, reported to have taken effect in May 2026. Detailed obligations were still being published, so we confirm requirements with the creator before booking. We check the current position in Lebanon and Iraq per campaign.

How we work here

  • Local creators, regional ideas. A campaign built for the Gulf usually needs new creators and a different tone to land in Amman or Beirut.
  • Short video first. TikTok, Reels and YouTube Shorts carry most discovery.
  • Price-aware offers. Value and practicality matter, so offers and messaging are adapted per market.

Questions we get asked

Do you run campaigns in Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq?

Yes, as part of MENA campaigns or on their own. We plan creators, content and channels per country, since audiences and platforms differ between Amman, Beirut and Baghdad.
